Gary Payton II was a lone bright spot for Milwaukee, as he tallied 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and five steals. He was also highly efficient, knocking down 56.9 percent of his shots, the sixth highest field goal percentage among those with at least 20 field-goal attempts. Thornwell led the team with 26 points (on 6-13 from the field and 14-18 from the free throw line), 5 rebounds, 1 assists, and a steal in his debut National Basketball Association game. Former Florida standout Casey Prather, Brandon Paul, T.J. Williams and Sam Cassell Jr. all scored eight points apiece. Note, that these 3 scrimmage-like games are in no way a definite indication of how a player will pan out.
