Podesta rips 'whack job' Trump after being targeted in tweet

President Donald Trump launched into a Twitter war with the Democratic National Committee and John podesta who chaired Hillary Clinton's failed presidential campaign

Mr Trump may be confusing Mr Podesta's email hack with a different, damaging hack of Democrats.

Early this morning, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to express some thoughts about his time at the G20 Summit in Germany. One observation he shared was that the one subject "everyone" was talking about was John Podesta and how he refused to give the Democratic National Committee's server over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Central Intelligence Agency. Both were hacked during the election cycle, and the DNC initially refused to allow the intelligence community access to its servers.

"Get a grip man, the Russians committed a crime when they stole my emails to help get you elected President", Podesta fired back from a rest stop in West Virginia. "But because he is the president, his words warrant a response", he added.

Here, he is referring to the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

"I had nothing to do with the DNC", he wrote.

The hacked DNC emails revealed that party officials favoured Mrs Clinton in the tussle for the presidential nomination, a revelation that soured supporters of her liberal challenger, Bernie Sanders.

Sports Illustrated trolls Trump over fake Time magazine cover
Since becoming president, Trump has visited the club on multiple occasions, including this past weekend. Even the barcode is a giveaway on the fake.

Podesta, who was taking a cross-country auto trip with his wife on Friday, said he discovered the president was tweeting about him while at a pit stop in West Virginia. "The CIA would never ask anyone at the DNC for a server".

The crime the Russians committed, as the intelligence community has concluded, was for the goal of helping Trump get elected president.

"President Trump must have the courage to raise the issue of Russian interference in our elections directly with President Putin, otherwise the Kremlin will conclude he is too weak to stand up to them", House Intelligence ranking member Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said in a Thursday statement.

There's one problem with the claim, as Podesta noted on Twitter.

President Trump sat with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday for a photo opportunity before their highly anticipated meeting at the G20 Summit in Germany. Instead, he has his face glued to his phone.

God only knows what our president will be tweeting by the time my wife and I get to Utah. "You're representing the United States at the G20", Podesta concluded.
