Hassan Rouhani, who has been sworn in as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran for a second term, has vowed to pull the country out of diplomatic isolation.

Rouhani will then attend a parliament session for the final swearing-in ceremony on August 5.

He said "social justice" and "poverty alleviation" were among the main ideals of the Islamic establishment, adding that the eradication of absolute poverty is one of the objectives of his administration.

Rouhani will take oath in parliament on Saturday.

The key political achievement of Rouhani during past four years in the office was signing a nuclear deal with six major world powers, namely Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the United States, which put an end to a decade-long dispute over the country's sensitive nuclear program.

At the inauguration ceremony, Rouhani was quoted as saying that his second term in office - which he secured in May 19 polls - would be marked by "free access to information and free expression of opinion among all segments of society". He continued "we are not afraid of enemy's plots and we know how to deal with them; Revolutinary identity anf diligent work would help the country to move ahead despite all countering measures by enemy".

"The meeting has twofold importance: first, it's the start of a new management term for Iran; secondly, it's a symbol of democracy".
